The primary purpose of this position is to assist all institutions in the design and implementation of programs, policies and practices to ensure compliance with U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) immigration requirements and related regulations.
The position is responsible for assisting in the development, training, monitoring and evaluation of the organizationompliance with DHS regulations, to also include the following DHS divisions: the Student & Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP), U.S. Department of State (DoS), U.S. lmmigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE), the U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP), and the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS).
The International Services Analyst will maintain current with visa and immigration laws, regulations and procedures to ensure organizational compliance. Responsibilities include ensuring the institutions are in compliance with immigration regulations and to serve as an advisor on policies, best practices, opportunities for continuous improvement and issues across the international services spectrum to facilitate compliance with the Student & Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS). This position actively supports international services for the organizationomestic institutions, and additionally involves supporting international institutions based upon operational need.
Responsibilities International Services Analyst responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the International Admissions Department of Enrollment Management (DEM) team and SEVP-approved F-1 Student Program DSOs and in the intake of newly sponsored international students for Form I-20 issuance for students new to the United States, transfer-in and change of status students
- Review Salesforce case submissions submitted for F-1 Student SEVIS record updates received from institutional DSOs to ensure compliance with DHS regulation, Adtalem Global Education (ATGE) policy and SEVIS reporting and record-keeping requirements (e.g., all documents electronically maintained on behalf of SEVIS record-keeping requirements are legibly maintained and viewable in Perceptive Content)
- Perform session SEVIS registrations for enrolled and attending new and continuing F-1 Students and identify non-compliant students
- Respond to inquiries submitted to
by institutional DSOs in support of F-1 Students. Responses provided are thoroughly vetted according to each studentnique individual situation and supported by DHS regulation and ATGE policy * Assist in the preparation of processes, procedures and training for institutional colleagues engaged in the F-1 Student Programs
- Review internal and external-facing documents to ensure organizational compliance with DHS regulations and ATGE policy
- Serve as a regulatory organizational liaison providing guidance to the organization in the oversight of its F-1 Student Program
- Completes other duties as assigned

Bacheloregree required
3 years in compliance or immigration preferred but not required and a minimum of 4 years of professional experience
Strong communication skills, adaptability, multi-tasking, project management and qualitative analytical research
Excellent writer, problem solver, organized, independent worker, works well with others required
Working knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Self-starter with a strong work ethic with a drive to maintain and increase relevant knowledge and skills
