California Department of Corrections Lead Testing Analyst Resumes must document years of experience in performing the services as described. Descriptions must include the company/project name and start and end dates that relate to the specific experience of the proposed Candidate(s). Assessment will be based on the breadth, duration, and successful achievement of an individual. The referenced experience must be within the past 10 years and comparable with the needs of this project.
Candidates' resumes will be compared against both the Mandatory Qualifications. Related experience in the resume will be verified. Interviews are not a part of the selection process; however, they may be conducted at the discretion of CDCR.
**Samples of written documentation developed by each proposed Candidate demonstrating excellent and effective analytical and oral and written communication skills. Remove any confidential information of the sample report that identifies a customer of work performed.
**At least three (3) customer references for each proposed Candidate. References should be for engagements of the same complexity and magnitude as proposed in Exhibit A, SOW. At least one (1) of the references should be from a State of California department/agency for a previous engagement that is similar in nature to the work outlined in this RFO. CDCR may contact referenced organizations when reviewing an offer to verify the information provided. A reference must be external to an Offeror's organization and corporate structure.
Thorough background check/GATE Clearance will be completed upon candidate acceptance.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
The TA will report to the SOMS User Acceptance Test (UAT) Manager and will have the following roles:
· To facilitate the overall transition of the SOMS UAT team to become the SOMS testing team; which will be responsible for planning and executing system, user acceptance, and regression testing activities.
· Prioritization of existing defects and change requests
· Providing user support information about the way that SOMS eOMIS works
· Areas of Responsibility:
Testing transition activities
· Identify the System Integrator's current testing team activities
· How much time/how many people? Assess CDCR staffing/skills gaps
· Lead the identification and documentation of scope and requirements (including staff)
· Communicate with SOMS TPM
· Prioritization of existing defects and change requests
· User support information about the way that SOMS eOMIS works
Mandatory Qualifications:
· The Testing Analyst is expected to have strong knowledge in IT testing.
· Minimum of ten (10) years' broad and extensive test experience, wherein at least seven (7) years of that experience in a lead capacity;
· Minimum seven (7) years' experience on government IT project(s);
· Minimum five (5) years' experience working with law enforcement;
· Minimum five (5) years' experience working on IT projects or business process re-engineering projects valued at more than eighty (80) million dollars;
· Minimum two (2) years' experience dealing with government control agencies
· Minimum five (5) years' experience working for the offering Contractor.
Desirable Qualifications:
· Demonstrated ability to coordinate and execute the testing effort of large complex State IT projects;
· Expertise mentoring State Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Testers in the completion of large scale testing efforts on projects similar in size as complexity as the SOMS project; 15 months Rancho Cordova, CA
