World Fuel Services is looking for an ideal candidate for the Software Support Analyst position in our fast-paced, deadline driven Aviation FBO Software division. The Software Support Analyst provides support on WFS Aviation FBO Software (Multiple softwares-Cloud Based and Local Installs) to both internal staff and software customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Provide l timepport in order to offer solutions to customers promptly
- Take ownership of each situation from beginning to end
- Assist with month end reconciliation for transactions completed in the software
- Use Discretion and independent judgment to assess complex problems/situations, apply creative analytics and form intelligent, pragmatic and appropriate solutions
- Determine the nature and specific symptoms of the reported problem.
- Analyzes the problem to determine the causes and develops a procedure to solve the problem and (if possible) to prevent its recurrence
- Use insight and careful investigation techniques to discover the true nature of a problem when the customer is unable to provide clear information. It may be necessary to formulate a theory and test that theory in the absence of a clear procedure. At times, a personal review of the customeratabase may be necessary to obtain all pertinent information
- Maintain documentation from customers and internal staff in an organized manner so that other team members can access the information quickly
- Other duties as assigned.
- Availability to travel required for software training
Requirements: - 2 Yearschnical support experience with Aviation or Transaction Software
- Strong analytical skills with basic accounting knowledge
- Proven experience with problem identification and resolution
- Strong organizational skills and time management, the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Very detail oriented
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and best in class interpersonal skills
- Proficient in the use of computers and a variety of software
- Critical thinking, analytical skills, creativity, judgment and logic
- Experience with Web Browser Developer Tools (e.g. Fiddler), C# skills, and
- SQL database skills preferred but not required
- Knowledge of accounting principles
