Job Description: The ERM Reporting Senior Analyst will support CME GroupRM Director in executing enterprise risk framework as part of the second line of defense, focus on roll out of key risk indicators, development of tolerance statements, enhancement of risk reporting, creation and integration of different risk data sources and cross functional implementation of the Archer GRC system.
Primary responsibilities include: - As a member of the ERM team, the analyst will
o Support the analysis and reporting of various risk management data, including key risk indicators, to identify trends
o Play a key role in providing the results of automated monitoring and testing via Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Key Risk Indicator (KRI) metric reporting
o Support the Director in promoting consistent use and implementation of risk management policy and standards throughout the firm through the Archer GRC System
o Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for internal and external (auditors, clients, regulatory agencies, consultants, etc.) use by running queries and creating reports
o Undertake on-going reviews and challenge of risk and control information for Divisions, and performance of risk mitigation and remediation activities
o Promote Archer GRC system awareness across Divisions through education and training to help drive improvement in the way it is used
o Ensure key trends, and issues are brought forward from reporting into management summaries clearly and accurately
o Work independently to gather, analyze, and report information from the firmatabases, and other data sources as necessary
o Work on projects and collaborate with different teams in developing new report building tools and both static and interactive reports with text and visualizations
o Assists the Director with analyzing the risk exposure on a portfolio basis for a specific Division
Experience/Qualification:
The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded technical background with the proven ability to apply Project Management and Process Improvement best practices.
The candidate additionally will have or exhibit the following:
o Minimum of 3-5 yearsperience within financial services or technology industry operations. Prior experience in Risk Management, or Internal Audit preferred.
o Bacheloregree required.
o Knowledge of ERM practices; demonstrated experience in developing and implementing aspects of Enterprise and/or Operational Risk programs preferred.
o Strong process facilitation, project management, and analytical skills
o Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a team and ability to foster working relationships
o Ability to work independently and proactively
o Flexible thinking and ability to adapt to various situation
o Understanding of risk and controls
o Expertise with Tableau and experience with GRC tools a plus (end user experience with Archer GRC Tool preferred)
o Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, ARM, CERA, FRM, CRM, or CPCU preferred.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Professional Office including PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio
