Job Description We are growing! We are looking for a Technical Category Analyst with a passion for the Beer Industry. This position will work in a team environment with a focus on developing a best-in-class automated reporting platform and providing Analytical support to internal teammates and external customers. Duties, Responsibilities and Expected Contributions
- Help develop a build best-in-class automated reporting platform to quickly mine data and pull out actionable insights
- Develop impactful category analyses and consumer insights using a range of syndicated and non-syndicated data sources
- Synthesize learnings from various sources to create clear and impactful selling stories in a visually appealing manner using PowerPoint
- Effectively educate internal teammates and external customers on growth opportunities through clear and impactful communications
- Partner with Sales team to engage external retailer buying team in defined territories with goal of identifying opportunities to grow the Beer category
Qualifications Job Qualifications Required Qualifications: - Bacheloregree required mputer Science, Mathematics, Information Management, Finance or similar
- 0-2 years of experience with programming languages, such as C++/C#/Visual Basic .NET/Python/Java
- Experience with pulling and analyzing data to uncover trends by using Excel, VBA, and/or SQL
- Ability to communicate information found by sifting through large data sets
Preferred Qualifications: - 2-5 years of experience with VBA, VB .Net, SQL
- Experience with dash boarding software such as Qlik, Tableau, or Spotfire
- Exposure to syndicated data sources (IRI/Nielsen)
