Job Description: CSRA provides technical support services to the Office of Acquisition (OA) of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), the nationargest law enforcement agency. Experienced CSRA personnel enhance CBProficiencies in Systems Engineering, Logistics & Sustainment, and Capabilities and Requirements Development to provide CBPgents along our borders with the most capable systems which can affordably be procured. The team provides engineering and analytical expertise across a wide range of disciplines, meeting all DHS Systems Engineering Life Cycle mandated planning analysis and documentation; provide a full spectrum of Integrated Logistics Support; development of Operational Requirements; and conduct Operational Test & Evaluation activities. We help CBP procure the equipment and technology needed to keep the border safe and secure.
Currently, we are seeking a Program Management & Evaluation Analyst in Crystal City, VA. The selected candidate must currently hold or be able to obtain a CBP Background Investigation Suitability clearance, per contract requirements.
So what is required of a Program Management & Evaluation Analyst on a day to day basis? There are quite a myriad of tasks and responsibilities, such as:
- Assists with the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
- Reviews status of projects and budgets, manages schedules, and prepares status reports.
- Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, clients and other stakeholders.
- Compiles and analyzes financial information to record transactions, prepare reports, and review and verify accuracy.
- Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.
- Prepares project plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled.

To qualify, you must meet these basic qualifications:
- Must be a US citizen.
- DHS Customs and Border Protection (CBP) suitability clearance (or ability to obtain).
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Requires a minimum of 5 years of project/program management experience
- Requires excellent presentation, written, and verbal skills, and ability to work successfully in a rapidly-changing environment
- Experience working in US Federal Government background investigations preferred, but not required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (2013).
