The SEO Analyst will develop and oversee the execution of Technical SEO projects that increase natural search traffic to DICK'S web properties. He/She will be responsible for interpreting web and business metrics across product divisions to prioritize technical optimizations based on level of effort and business priorities. The SEO Analyst will educate cross-functional teams on SEO best practices and be able to identify, troubleshoot and consult on technical website issues. He/She will be responsible for identifying technical SEO projects, writing website requirements and helping teams prioritize work. The SEO Analyst will work with Product Management & IT to ensure SEO best-practices are applied to website functionality and projects. The SEO Analyst will be responsible for conducting technical audits & QA before and after website releases to ensure SEO elements and functionality are working expected. Experience with Technical SEO tools and knowledge of basic HTLM are needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage and develop one direct report, an SEO Strategist
Develop and execute optimization strategies for a range of product divisions
Pull and interpret web and business metrics
Communicate SEO best-practices and strategies to business partners and upper management
Work with cross-functional teams including Site Merchandising, Buying, Content, Social, Local, Product Management, Product Finding Methods, Tools Team, IT & Front End Development
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree
1-3 years of related experience with 2-3 years of experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
SearchMetrics experience is a plus
Omniture experience is a plus
Google Search Console experience is a plus
HTML and CSS familiarity is a plus
