Position Summary The Scrum Master/Business Analyst is responsible coordinating Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes for Private Equity and Real Assets Investment Systems; Real Assets Global Asset Management Platform (AMS), Investment Lifecycle Manger (ILM), Portfolio Company Data Solution (PT). The candidate will collaborate closely with multiple internal teams to deliver application and process enhancements, which provide operational efficiencies and new capabilities. The candidate will perform scrum duties including backlog management, conducting sprint planning, running stand ups and sponsor meetings. The candidate will also assist in gathering and writing business requirements, performing data and technical analysis, creating test cases and working directly with our business partners and development teams in delivering strategic enhancements.
The candidate should be a highly organized and creative thinker who has the ability to synthesize complex ideas and communicate these clearly to a variety of stakeholder groups. Knowledge of industry best practices regarding agile and hybrid software delivery methodologies is key to being able to support a diverse portfolio of projects.
In addition, this individual will be responsible for:
- Understanding complex Carlyle investment processes
- Writing user stories, managing release and iteration plans, and creating business use cases
- Working with users and technical staff to analyze and document data requirements
- Removing any impediments in order to keep teams highly productive
- Identifying and managing dependencies with other internal or external team
- Validating new capabilities in preparation of user acceptance testing and helping to resolve potential issues discovered during the QA and UAT testing cycles
- Ensure that critical issues are escalated and any resulting deliverables are tracked and worked on appropriately.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications: - Minimum of 3-5 years' relevant experience
- Required experience as Scrum Master with responsibility for team collaboration, iteration planning and demos
- Experience with agile business analysis, including documentation of user stories and test requirements, process documentation
- Experience working with Agile software project management tools: JIRA, AgileVision, Trello
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited school, required (Concentration in Information Systems, Finance, Computer Science or Engineering, preferred)
Additional Attributes: - Ability to identify approaches, risks, mitigation strategies to meet client/functional requirements
- Understanding of what drives user adoption with applications
- Experience working with multi-tiered entity structures and a global organization, preferred
- Consulting skills preferred

- Familiarity with Financial Services, Alternate Investments experience a plus
- Strong client focus - experience with direct interaction with users at multiple levels
- Certified Scrum Master, or Certified Scrum Practitioner, preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project skills and SharePoint

Business Title Scrum Master/Business Analyst - investment Solutions
Key Duties/ Responsibilities - Perform Scrum activities supporting existing and potentially new Investment applications and programs. Includes writing and grooming stories, facilitating daily standups, preparing materials for sponsor meetings, assisting in removing blockers, conducting retrospective meetings, managing the backlog (30%)
- Perform business analysis for the Investments space - work directly with clients to groom stories and epics; requirements planning, requirements elicitation and analysis, assist in creating test plans, and quality assurance testing for related enhancements and new development. Ability to coordinate testing activities across multiple departments (30%)
- Coordinate cross team projects/efforts with other scrum masters and project leads (15%)
- Oversee and manage production support issues and their timely resolution (15%)
- Train users on self-service reporting and new & existing capabilities. Create and maintain training documentation and other related job aids. Provide general user and client support as required (10%)
