IT Analyst, Finance
Background and Purpose of the Job:
The Finance team has broad interaction with all areas of the business, driving business performance and growth, while leveraging return on investment and managing Risk and Compliance. Therefore, it is essential that this IT partner has a broad understanding of the business and the Finance function process and tools. The individual should be a connectormany activities in Finance have pre-defined schedule/cycle and deadlines, the individual must be able to navigate through projects, changes and how they have an impact to Finance systems and users. Very often, the individual needs to work with both BAU AM support and Project resources for issues or changes. Understanding on the project release management cycle is important although itot your key responsibility.
Who You are and What YouDo:
Youa born leader: You will assist and lead team meetings, change management, testing for Finance NA for small projects in North America. You will also oversee Disaster Recovery Plan for Finance NA.
Youa dot connector: You will engage with Finance stakeholders collaborating on both support issues and developing scope for new demand.
Youa changemaker: You will be the Project lead for small initiatives requiring organizational and project management skills, maintaining project plans, action plans, identify and escalate risks.
You love to win and have fun doing it: You will drive efficiencies, increase overall user experience for Finance function through innovation and projects while supporting KEC. Responsible for oversight of end to end the BW/BI space landing all new projects and KEC for Finance Function. Also, responsible for management one of the key finance projects for 2018.
What YouNeed to Succeed:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, IT or related field
- Minimum of 5 yearsperience in Finance and IT Function
- Finance modules of SAP ERP, Financial Planning and Reporting Systems, Microsoft BI
- Basic understanding of data models, flows and data analytics
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Serves as a IT point of contact/partner to Finance stakeholders
- Leads / collaborates with partner consulting resources to execute tasks within established schedules
- Executes assigned tasks within established schedules
- Demonstrates ability to prioritize conflicting demands
- Demonstrates ability to multi-task and deal with changing deadlines
- Demonstrates ability to influence others to drive solutions.
