The Business Readiness Services (BRS) Analyst has proven skills and experience to contribute toward the success of the Enterprise Preparedness program and its ongoing process to prevent, mitigate, prepare for, respond to, maintain continuity during, and to recover from an incident that threatens life, property, operations, information, or the U.S. Bancorp reputation. This individual will provide ongoing customer service support to our Business Lines by providing trusted advisement, leadership, evaluation, and organization with developing, implementing, and maintaining processes to ensure continual operations in the event of crisis or significant disrupting incident. The Analyst will provide guidance to ensure that BC Plans and Processes are in compliance with company, state and federal preparedness policies and regulations.
Roles/Responsibilities:
- Support the U.S. Bancorp all-hazards Preparedness/Emergency Management and Business Continuity programs.
- Train and mentor Business Line Readiness Managers, Coordinators and Planners
- Support and enforce the Enterprise Preparedness program Policy, Guidance and procedures
- Ensure all regulations are observed in relation to Preparedness Policies and Guidance
- Support of new policies and procedures for Enterprise Preparedness tools and applications
- Provide support as needed during incidents and evaluation post-incident
- Maintain working relationships with internal support and other corporate teams
- Day to day tasks include:
- BC Plan Reviews within our internal SLA
- Process Record Reviews (BIA)
- Review of ITSM, Forms (change requests) and BCRA class="new_p"> - Maintenance of program level docs and tools ie templates, guides and webpages
- Supporting peer groups ie USB 3rd Party, EFS and other team/initiatives
- Projects and other assignments as needed
Qualifications Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Seven to ten years of experience in an applicable risk management environment
- Applicable professional certifications
Preferred Skills/Experience - Five plus years of experience in Business Continuity or incident/emergency management
- Project Management training/certification
- Degree/Certification in related field
- Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure and respond rapidly to incidents 24/7/365.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage priorities
- Effectively apply required knowledge to training scenarios and actual incidents
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
