Southwestern Energy is currently the third largest producer of natural gas in the lower 48 states and we operate one of the largest gas gathering systems in the United States. We own three major assets which are located in northeast Pennsylvania, West Virginia and southwest Pennsylvania, and in Arkansasyetteville Shale.
The role of the Project Analyst is responsible for supporting project management, communications and change management activities for small to large projects, requiring cross-functional / business engagement, with limited supervision (Note: Level II may lead or own project or change management activities for select low-risk projects)
Responsibilities - Supports the definition of project scope, stakeholders, goals and deliverables based on business requirements
- Basic knowledge of project management techniques and tools (2-3 years of related experience)
- Basic knowledge of change management techniques and tools (2-3 years of related experience)
- Supports project administration needs, tasks, timelines, budget, reporting, and resource requirements
- Supports project planning activity and coordination of project staff
- Develops and utilizes data gathering tools and methods to analyze and gather data needed for project requirements
- Analyzes parameters including costs, timelines, technical functions, benefits and risks of projects
- Provides quality assurance
- Monitors and reports on progress, problems and solutions
- Implements and manages project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
- Performs post-project evaluations and assessments of results
- Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
- Supports process mapping exercises to improve or develop new processes
- Conducts readiness and stakeholder assessments
- Executes communication and training plans to maximize adoption and minimize disruption

Qualifications - College diploma or university degree in the field of business administration, computer science, or management information systems and at least 2 years of related work experience
- Strong in MS applications including: Project, Visio, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Experienced interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, to individuals at multiple levels of seniority, across disciplines, departments and locations
- Independent problem-solving and able to think proactively, but also able to work well in a team environment
- Ability to recognize, measure, and mitigate project risks with appropriate communication and escalation plans
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
- Ability to develop/tailor and execute communications and training plans for various audiences
- Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies

Work Conditions
- Occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines
