Duties: Provide L1/L2 production support for 10+ iSeries/AS400 applications, serving a wide range of business functions. Service user questions, telephone calls and tickets. Investigate and resolve issues - working with users, application developers, and extended teams (like security, network and infrastructure) as required. Contribute to system resiliency and system process improvement programs. Document known issues, best practice and system information in knowledgebase systems. Manage user communications for major production incidents. Permit to Operate and Technical review of proposed system changes.
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as an Application Support Analyst, Technical Lead, Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, IT Consultant, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with: OS400 and iSeries. Requires two (2) years of experience with: CL, RPG, or RPG ILE programs; application development; production support; incident management; user interaction; and Middle or Back office banking applications. Requires one (1) year of experience with: IBM MQ and SQL.
