Senior Brand Management Analyst: Become the Newest Member of the VF Internal Audit Family
The Senior Brand Management Analyst (SBMA) will audit the functions within VFrand Management and Finance organizations and deliver useful insights and action plans for improvement of our brands and enabling processes. This intermediate level position is responsible for analyzing relevant data, interviewing managers and associates, observing operations, and preparing recommendations, taking into account the nature of the business unit and culture. Recommendations are presented to the HR and Law management in formal verbal presentations and in a written report. This role will span management areas such as:
- Financial planning, financial analysis, financial accounting, and financial reporting
- Credit management and treasury
- Capital spending, costing and transactional processes
- Retail management and digital management
- Product development, marketing, and licensing
- Brand planning, merchandising and licensing
How You Will Make a Difference:
You will deliver high impact reviews of aspects of the business to executive/senior brand and financial management You will have the opportunity to rapidly absorb complex subject matter, and deliver insights. You will participate in audit projects and assignments around the world, including the U.S., Asia, Europe, and Latin America! You will have frequent opportunity to interact with executive/senior management ranks of VF (GREAT EXPOSURE!)
Skills for Success: Years of Related Professional Experience: 3+ years
Educational/ Position Requirements:
- A Bacheloregree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 3 years of accounting, audit or financial planning & analysis experience or an equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Certifications: CPA, CFA, CMA or international equivalent (i.e. HKICPA, ACCA)
- MSA or MBA Degree Preferred, in addition to the undergraduate degree mentioned above.
- Strong verbal and written English skills, additional languages a plus
- Proficient skills with Microsoft Office programs
- Strong leadership traits and resourcefulness
- Ability to build relationships and offer compelling ideas/insights to a diverse population of VF associates, including executive/senior management
- Strong project management and analytical skills applied in up-tempo setting
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
- Professional, flexible approach taken in handling multiple priorities
- Must be initially located at a hub in Greensboro, NC
Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:
- Travel by air and overnight, as required 25-30% of time. (Not limited to, but mostly major cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Buenos Aires, Brussels, Moscow, Istanbul, Bangalore, Stabio, Santiago and Mexico City)
