Job Description The UAT (User Acceptance Testing) Analyst partners closely with the business to formulate a test plan approach, prepares and executes test case scenarios, provides progress reports regarding process tests, and documents test results. The analysts will tests system modifications to prepare for new process implementations and will create and maintain databases of known test defects. We are looking for someone who reports into the business side with strong technical skills, abilities and experience.
Duties & Responsibilities: - Create high level performance test plans, detailed test cases and performance testing scripts.
- Develop and update testing scenarios that support requirements for financial accounting software
- Maintain all related user test cases in a database; tracking methods / spreadsheet.
- Support tracking of defects that are related to integrations user test scenarios.
- Understand how this role fits in with the overall business goals. Works and collaborates with others in either a lead or support role as business needs demand. *Adheres to defined deliverable formats using tools including Visio, MS Project, Excel and other desktop products as required.
- Works in an office environment sitting at a desk, table or computer workstation for long periods of time.
- Contributes actively and effectively to team discussions, sharing his/her knowledge and expertise willingly and collaboratively.
- Models professional behavior/conduct that remains in concert with the culture and business values. Leads by example whether in group or individual meetings.
Requirements - *Minimum 2 years experience in creating and customizing report writing databases/applications
- *Minimum 2 years bookkeeping experience with a midrange Accounting System
- *Minimum 2 years experience in full cycle user acceptance testing from formulating test plan strategies to documenting results and integrations.
- Microsoft Testing Tools experience preferred (TFS, Visual Studio)
- Analytical skills and problem solving skills with the ability to assess problems and develop solutions/improvements and formulate/communicate recommendations for improvement.
- Ability to produce accurate and precise work, detect discrepancies and resolve discrepancies while meeting deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a client service orientation, an effective communicator with staff, management and executives.
- Ability to work effectively in a changing business environment, independently, and as part of a team.
- Strong organization /multi-tasking abilities, time and project management with facilitations skills
- Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, Office, Project) & Visio
- Oral and written proficiency and clarity in English language required.
- Bachelors Degree Preferred.
