We are currently looking for a Menu Admin Analyst to join our culinary team based in Reston, VA. Reporting to the Manager, Menu Admin, the Menu Admin Analyst will be responsible for acting as a conduit between the Menu Design Chefs, the data team and operations by completing, reviewing and validating the menus/recipes created by Gate Gourmet or a partner. The position ensures the menus/specifications are ready to be priced, operations ready and in a format to be delivered to the customer.
Main Duties and Responsibilities: - Supports all stakeholders, including but not limited to, the MCSG, Production, Buyers, Menu Design Chefs and SAP coordinators by being the main contact of the Gate Gourmet or partner designed menu specifications to answer spec related questions.
- Supports the menu design team by researching new recipes in the Gate Gourmet designated database.
- Supports all groups by controlling specifications on ancillary non-culinary menu items.
- Supports the menu design team during the menu presentations to capture the changes at the presentation, take pictures, create tent cards and compile the menu grid for sign off after the presentation i.e. during the scrub session.
- Supports the menu design team to complete the menu grid in customer requested format both pre and post presentation.
- Supports and helps create the menus/recipes using SAP material numbers.
- Responsible for supporting, creating, reviewing and validating the menus/recipe created by the designated menu design team member to ensure the work product is 100% complete as it related to yields and SAP materials.
- Reviews, supports and creates the plating instructions (menu level) and the recipe instructions to ensure they are 100% complete and are easily understood by the end user.
- Updates specifications and distributes as needed when changes are made by customer or Gate Gourmet.

- Travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required up to 50%.
Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree required, from an accredited university.
Work Experience: - 3-5 years previous demonstrated culinary work experience preferred.
- Proven experience within an SAP environment preferred.
- Work experience in a food production or food service environment preferred.
- Experience working within a cross-functional team
Job Skills: - Must demonstrate and have advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must be detail oriented, take ownership of work quality, and display an outstanding work ethic.
- Must work effectively in a team based environment.
- Must have the ability and desire to meet required timelines.
- Strong time management skills.
