Responsibilities The Senior Financial Analyst is a project based position with an identified end date. The role is responsible for providing accurate and timely reports, analyses, and forecasts related to volume and pricing of Universal Studios Hollywood's primary products. The SFA will also partner with Marketing and Sales to analyze product, pricing and promotion initiatives.
Planning
- Assist in the analysis of product, pricing and promotion initiatives
- Assist in the development of all financial budgets and estimates related to Admissions Revenue
Reporting
- Prepare and review weekly reports related to sales volume and pricing
- Analyze data and provide variance explanations as required
- Ensure quality and consistency of periodic department deliverables
Accounting
- Perform monthly, quarterly and annual close of all general ledger accounts related to ticket products (including deferred revenue and breakage)
- Research variance between Data Warehouse and the General Ledger for closing

Qualifications/Requirements chelor's degree from a four-year college or university is required; majors in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of three years of proven experience in pricing and/or data analytics for a highly complex and Fortune 500 organization.
- Capable of consistently delivering accurate financial information and analysis in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and successfully manage multiple concurrent assignments
- Proven analytical skills and experience linking financial results to performance business drivers
Desired Characteristics ior experience in Financial Planning & Analysis highly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint; SAP, Comshare and/or Microstrategy knowledge a plus.
- Strong communication skills
- Proactive thinker/self-starter
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide spectrum of customers
- High level of responsibility and a strong desire to produce quality work
