Description of position The Enterprise Content Management Group is responsible for implementation, maintenance and governance of the Enterprise Content Management System. Costco has implemented IBM FileNet P8 ECM Platform which Costcousiness areas and personnel rely on a daily basis. Costco Enterprise Content Management Group is actively pursuing a technical resource to aid in the development, maintenance and implementation of the IBM FileNet P8 solutions.
The Content Analyst is responsible for the support and administration of the Enterprise Content Management System. This position is a part of the Enterprise Content Management Group and will support the IBM/FileNet suite of applications used across the Costco enterprise. Job functions will include (but are not limited to) responsible for configuration and support of document capture and front end interfaces. The technologies included are:
- IBM FileNet P8 Content Manager
- IBM FileNet P8 Records Manager
- IBM FileNet Datacap
- IBM Content Collector (ICC for Files)
- IBM FileNet Connector for SAP (ICCSAP)
- Encapture by Imagine Solutions
Tasks and responsibilities - Support implementation of the IBM FileNet P8 Content Management Suite and the supporting 3rd party technology components (Docusign) along with the internal solutions that are aligned with Costconterprise and domain specific architecture strategies, following recommended policies created by the ECM COE.
- Responsible for project Macro Tasks as defined by Costconternal Software Development Methodology (SDM).
- Designs solutions based on Engineering specifications.
- Interacts with Business Analyst for Use/test case analysis and development.
- Applies content modeling recommendations to I.T. Solutions design.
- Implements Data Migration specifications if required.
- Considers ECM integration of Master Data Model (MDM) requirements for ECM system.
- Designs SOA mapping layers.
- Implements Content Model.
- Collaborate and design Metadata and Taxonomy Model.
- Identify and design ECM components and integration points.
- Collaborate and configure Datacap/ICC/Encapture capture solutions.
- Support existing Capture solutions.
- Initiate PMR tickets with Vendors to resolve system issues
Required skills, abilities, and certifications
- Working knowledge of IBM FileNet P8 System suite of products (Certified Professional desirable)
- Required working knowledge of enterprise level DataBases --- Oracle, MS SQL Server 2000 and above
- Excellent knowledge of current development methodologies, tools and techniques, including the following tools: VB, VB.Net, ASP, ASP.Net, JavaScript, C++/C#, SQL, Java and FileNet APIli>
