The Holland America Group is currently searching for a highly motivated Sr. Data Analyst to drive net revenue and service by identifying business needs based on quantitative analysis and defining solutions that can feasibly be implemented by the Onboard Revenue business owners. This position will report directly to the Manager, Strategic Analysis.

Responsibilities - Perform ad-hoc analysis of Onboard Revenue guest, financial data and other quantitative data points.
- Perform variance analyses as needed to evaluate Onboard Revenue performance vs plan, forecast, and prior year.
- Recommend product and operational initiatives to the Onboard Revenue teams that drive net revenue and/or service improvements by identifying areas of best practices, synergies, revenue maximization, cost savings and/or improvement initiatives based on quantitative analysis.
- Craft impactful and engaging presentations to be used at VP/executive leader level.
- Create design of experiments (DOEs) for pricing, promotional and product initiatives, including the reduction of test data into concise, actionable business recommendations.
- Recommend new and innovative types of analysis that provide greater insight into customer behavior and needs.
- Continuously monitor reporting effectiveness, evolves existing reports, develops new reports as needed, and identify opportunities to automate and gain efficiencies in data collection and reporting where possible.
- Create financial pro-formas of future earnings to support 3rd party contract negotiations in a timely and accurate manner.
- Works with internal Data Warehouse, Polar, Shipboard, and Website teams to maintain Onboard Revenue data integrity, accuracy and efficient structuring.
- Provide Market Planning with relevant Onboard Revenue data and analysis for itinerary planning.
- Support the Onboard Revenue regional teams in all financial-related activities.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience
- 3-5 years financial analysis experience in a business to consumer industry with an emphasis on statistical and quantitative analysis.
- Highly analytical and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to create executive level Power Point presentations
- Ability to speak effectively to an executive audience
- Ability to construct market tests, collect, reduce and present data.
- Ability to perform market analysis and competitive intelligence.
- High level of Excel and MS Office proficiency.
Preferences - MBA.
- Familiarity with SQL, Business Objects and Tableau.
- Knowledge of market research and sales promotions.
