This position partners with supply chain team on all aspects of supply chain including inbound transportation, outbound transportation, fulfilment network and capacity planning. She / he will be responsible for supporting initiatives that will improve cost, quality, delivery or customer experience, develop financial evaluation, and produce supporting information, insights and recommendations for decision process. In order to achieve that, she / he will work with internal business partners at all levels of the organization. Job Responsibilities include: · Expertise collecting, analyzing and managing quantitative data and creating meaningful reports to lead business improvement and cost reductions
· Root cause analysis and uncovering core issues using data, then assist the Supply Chain team to improve and create new measures for performance
· Recommend, develop, and implement policies and programs that guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and profitability
· Manage the development of all weekly and monthly financial close, all planning, forecasting, and reporting models and their continuous innovation and communicating to your Operations partners
· Work with data source providers and technology teams to ensure that key decision data is accurate, automated and timely
· Proven ability to manage a team with competing priorities & provide a level-headed guidance during unexpected events
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering and/or similar discipline with analytical bias
· 5+ years relevant experience in positions that require analysis and reporting financial results
· Experience in Excel (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups)
· Demonstrated financial acumen and/or analytical experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
· 2+ years of experience performing financial and ad hoc analysis using data reporting tools
· Ability to travel; 10%+ travel expected, primarily to local operations, in addition to regional support
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS · MBA and/or Professional certification (CPA/CMA/Qualified Accounting certificate) + relevant experience
· Management experience with demonstrated leadership skills with proven ability to take on new assignments
· Highly analytical, detail oriented and strong business sense; proven ability to manage new ideas and creative solutions and demonstrated experience managing such mechanisms to an end result
· Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic, ever-growing and often ambiguous environment; effective multi-tasking skills are vital
· Demonstrated effective communication and presentation skills working with multiple peer groups and senior levels of management
· Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MSAccess, Essbase and/or Cognos) and other financial systems (i.e. Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards), providing solutions based on results of ad hoc analyses to senior management for strategic decision-making
