Requisition Summary If you are a bright, dynamic, and self-motivated we have the perfect opportunity for you to accelerate your career at PACCAR Engine Company. We are looking for a Tech Support Analyst to help us provide superior technical support for associates at our $400 million Plant in Columbus, Mississippi.
The ideal candidate has a four year Bachelor's degree and is detail oriented, ambitious, and has great organizational skills and has the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Job Functions / Responsibilities - Manage IT infrastructure projects using project management principles following defined standards and policies leveraging local and remote support groups.
- Install, maintain and document information technology solutions for engine machining, engine assembly operations and office support groups following defined change management processes
- Perform regular audit and analysis of IT Business Systems to ensure compliancy to corporate standards. Respond to and resolve incident reports in a timely fashion meeting defined goals
- Identify root causes to repetitive issues and provide solutions to resolve permanently
- Support weekend "On Call", System Patching and "Tech Time" activities on a rotational basis with other team members
Qualifications & Skills Required: - Bachelor's degree preferred
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills
- A minimum of two (2) to five (5) years technology experience
Desired: - Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems integrated with robotics, other factory automation technology, Engineering and Business Execution Systems
- Cisco Network experience
- Microsoft Window 7, Server 2008/2012, VMware ESX, EMC SAN Experience
- Microsoft SQL Server support experience
- Microsoft, Comp TIA, Cisco certifications preferred
