Responsibilities Working as expert, conduct research and evaluate quality of technical data with specific emphasis on cyber warfare tactics, techniques, and procedures focused on the threat to US Government civilian, state, local, and tribal government information networks. Analyzes end to end quality of mission data collected on network events to determine completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of threat information, assess and identify root causes of quality issues, and work with sustainment, development, and mission partners to develop and implement correction actions. Researches, develops, implements measures and metrics to monitor and track quality of mission data across the customer organization and for specific data sets, systems, and projects. Conducts deep dives to profile mission data collections, and works with customer subject matter experts to perform and validate assessments and recommendations for senior managers. Works with team members and customer to develop and implement data quality guidelines, policies, and procedures. Works with customer and development organizations to address data quality needs during planning and ensure their inclusion in capabilities requirements, design and implementation. Prepares assessments and profiles of cyber data quality, and authors analysis reports and presentations for customer, management, and mission partners. Develops and maintains analytical procedures to meet evolving data quality requirements, new data collections and sources, and ensure maintenance of data quality in operations. Familiar with quality management techniques, data quality and auditing tools, and assessing quality and risks in collection, ETL, relational and non-relational data management and storage systems. Produces high-quality papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings for customer capability development and mission partners.
Qualifications Requires 10 to 12 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with PhD.
