GENERAL FUNCTION

The Analyst- Business Dataverall mission is to provide metrics and detailed analyses to measure and monitor progress with Quality commitments to internal & external customers. The Atlanta Analyst- Business Data equips the Atlanta & Quality Team members with actionable data to improve performance at a facility level.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develops reporting capabilities on quality metrics such as internal scrap rates and rejects from customers.
• Designs and executes database queries into various systems to get required data. These systems include SAP, LMS, Jaspersoft, and labor reporting databases.
• Summarizes the results of queries in a common format that is actionable by our Quality team members.
• Verifies accuracy of Quality reports with Quality and Manufacturing leaders.
• Publishes reports regularly, using Lux homepage reporting capability as appropriate.
• Builds/Maintains metrics databases allowing for trend reporting.
• Monitors the effectiveness of reports and coordinates improvements as required with stakeholders.
• Analyzes manufacturing processes to enhance data collection and reporting effectiveness.
• Analyzes results for trends and opportunities using appropriate tools, utilizing statistical tools like Minitab.
• Partners with facility Quality leaders to track trends in root causes and tie to improvements.
• Complete ad-hoc requests from various individuals within the organization.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bacheloregree in Information Systems, Statistics, Business, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
• 1-3 yearsperience in data analytics role.
• Expert in Microsoft Excel, Power Point and database query tools
• Experience in utilizing SQL to extract and manipulate data.
• Statistical Process/Quality Control experience with Minitab software
• Ability to learn Microsoft Project and Project Management skills.
• Basic understanding of statistics with strong analytical & problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated capability to clearly and concisely l a storyrough data.
• Strong attention to detail; thorough ability to understand and follow directions, meet schedules and ensure work is completed as assigned

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Masteregree in Statistics or Equivalent
• Experience with ISO standards and regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Access with Microsoft Project experience
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Optical manufacturing experience
• Experience in utilizing Jaspersoft as means to gather data and automate data extractions.
• Lean Six Sigma Experience Preferred
• Experience extracting data via ERP (SAP & AS 400) systems.
