A fantastic opportunity is available for an Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team.
Key position in Divisional Finance supporting all marketing budgets, planning, control, and reporting activities related to the consumer marketing initiatives for USA Household.
Key Responsibilities Manage all aspects of assigned brands' consumer marketing budget including planning, forecasting, analysing, accounting, controlling and reporting all activities at the program level.
Manage the media spend. Partner with the media in-house team and the media agencies to understand the movements, recording monthly expense and approving media invoices.
Provide direct support to the E-Tailing team, the CRM team and other budget owners and manage spend.
Lead the month end close process for media and the designated brands. Complete the close in the In-house marketing system and JD Edwards. Reconcile JD Edwards to the underlying details.
Partner closely with marketing and the media team to complete the planning and forecasting cycle. Ensure the plan and forecasts are consolidated accurately. Upload the plan to TM1 and reconcile details.
Support and enable the monthly JD Edwards financial accounting process as it relates to all matters of consumer marketing activity. Provide variance analysis of both profit & loss and balance sheet account movements. Ensure the adequacy of consumer marketing accruals including potential risk or opportunity.
Support AME / DME database tool (and its eventual successor) ensuring functionality, data integrity, and ongoing administration and support.
Assist in the continuous improvement of the AME / DME database tool, in order to accommodate changing accounting rules and business needs.
Is this You?
BS in Accounting or Finance, CPA or MBA is preferred
3-5 year's work experience within Accounting or Finance
Experience in planning and reporting preferred
Experience working with media agencies preferred
Advanced excel knowledge required
Experience with JD Edwards and TM1 preferred.
Excellent organization skills and ability to understand and analyze data logically
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and entrepreneurial skills to allow for mutual understanding of problems / business needs and development of cooperative solutions
Ability to challenge and influence decisions, multi-task and prioritize assignments
Ability to lead processes independently and work with business partners to resolve issues
