Position Summary Seeking a Business Analyst to join our Records Management team. Our Records Management Analyst will be a critical strategic thinker who assists CPS Energy in meeting the compliance obligations of the company related to records and information assets. This individual must be able to quickly learn the regulatory requirements and internal policies to be able to continue educating the users of their records management obligations. The role has the potential to evolve to communicating compliance requirements and best practices to a user and execute the tasks of the Records Management Program, specifically within Information Governance, encompassing Records Management, Audit, Security and Legal. Tasks and Responsibilities Perform a variety of technical, analytical and complex administrative duties involved in the development, implementation, and administration of the (Electronic) Records Management (RM) Program
Independently perform a variety of analytical and administrative duties involved in the development, implementation, and administration of the RM Program within established timeframes
Contributes substantive content to presentation briefings and delivers records management briefings to groups to inform business units on record management policies and procedures
Advises management on Records Management projects needs and costs
Serves as a resource to management during evaluation and monitoring of Records Management projects.
Function as a resource from the Office of Records Management on integrated Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) on projects ensuring RM activities and tasks are met
Analyze, according to Information Governance, alternatives for collection, manipulation, storage, retrieval and dissemination of information, and develops recommendations accordingly
May include limited supervisory responsibilities

Possess a valid drivericense with a history of a safe driving record in accordance with CPSE policies, procedures, safety standards, and applicable laws and regulations
Ability to utilize established procedures and processes to perform assigned tasks under direct supervision
Demonstrates proficiency in basic management of projects and assignments
Effectively identify process control deficiencies and opportunities for improvement
Experience in functioning within a matrixed organization as a project team member, accountable for project deliverables and timelines
Manage all phases of a project following established methodology with a considerable amount of autonomy
Working knowledge and experience in SAP, customer service
Working knowledge of administering an electronic document management system, such as ECM
In-depth understanding of the Record Management Process, regulations, policies, directives, procedures, scanning and document preservation, document management software, and the workflow management system.
