Providence is calling a Certified Nursing Assistant 2 - Nursing Float Pool (0.9 FTE, Nights) to Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR.
In this position, you will: - Assist the registered nurse (RN) in providing comprehensive nursing care by performing specified duties and functions under the direct supervision of the RN.
- Perform duties in a caring and respectful manner that promotes team functioning.
- Consistently uphold standards of confidentiality, punctuality and attendance.
Qualifications Required qualifications for this position include:
- Completion of Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) recognized Acute Care Certified Nursing Assistant 2 (CNA 2) course, or "grandfathered" to CNA 2 per OSBN requirements
- Current, active certificate to practice as a CNA 2 in Oregon
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- 1 year of experience as a CNA 2
