Description Connection Services has a fantastic opportunity through our technical staffing division in Schaumburg, IL. We are looking for a Help Desk Agent. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with immediate start.
Job Details: - Support industrial vending machines remotely over the phone with both customers of our client and our client themselves
- Answer incoming calls, tracks all information in a call tracking system, uses a knowledge base tool along with their expertise to resolve Level1 requests in a timely fashion
- The Help Desk Agent escalates unresolved problem/issues/requests to the proper tier 2 and 3 support team
- Troubleshoots basic end user issues on various software applications, hardware, network and telecommunications systems and provides basic desktop support
- Support commonly used software, hardware, and other equipment
- Understanding of Active Directory to unlock and reset password.
Requirements - Certification or equivalent work experience to prepare for CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification
- Experience doing remote support
- Hardware and Software Support
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with ability to create a document or simple spreadsheet
- Proficient in using Windows 7 and its' applications
- Great customer service skills.
