Responsibilities - Continuing the lifecycle of defined organizational research objectives, plan and execute research projects as requested.
- Distill project goals and research materials into well thought-out research plans.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize research based on analysis of current knowledge, project goals and risks.
- Recommend research methodologies and develop qualitative and quantitative analysis; leverage web analytics and recommend new metrics when appropriate to improve understanding of web usability effectiveness with a focus on our primary lead generation and sales activities.
- Translate findings into design recommendations and actions plans to quickly improve web solutions.
- Strategize with the UX team and business stakeholders on how to operationalize insights arrived at through research.
- Document usability requirements learned through research and testing within appropriate assets such as persona templates and journey maps.
- Lead generative research methods including: expert/stakeholder interviews, field studies, contextual inquiry, focus groups, online surveys and other research methods.
- Perform thorough data analysis in an efficient manner to create insightful and actionable findings presentations (both verbal and written) within project timeframes.
- Assist in the creation of design that works to build persuasion, empathy, trust, and a superior user experience across all touch points.
- Be a resource to coordinators for marketing innovation, new campaign types/ideas.
- Lead experience UX/CX research studies - User testing, User Persona development, Journey Map development and analysis of customer/prospect data for insights that could inform Brand, Marketing and customer support in customer experience improvements.
- Lead the development of various content architectures when needed.
This would include:
- Organizing content into logical groupings and identifying the primary points of access and user task flows.
- Organizing the overall functional flow of interactive pieces, identify relationships between functional elements with task flows.
- Creating functional layout of information and navigational design in the form of flow charts, branching documents, annotated wireframes, and functional templates with description.
Qualifications - Bacheloregree Human Computer Interaction, Information Science, Computer Science or related field.
- UX Certification (HFI CUA or equivalent) strongly preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of UX Digital or product experience design, UX research experience.
- A proven track record in conducting research and usability testing of digital innovations.
- Track record of user experience achievements with demonstrated excellence.
- Hands-on experience with iterative prototype testing, concept testing, survey design, and usage of multiple methods within a study.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables (e.g: study plans, reports).
- Visual and User-centered Design experience.
- Innovative - self-motivated, able to research new concepts independently.
- Persuasive le to convince stakeholders of UX value and find win-win solutions.
- Experience with designing and developing Responsive / Mobile solutions.
- Knowledge of appropriate design tools.
- Excellent writing skills and ability to produce enough project documentation, business requirements documentation and functional specifications to drive successful development.
- Strong understanding of site usability and architecture principles.
- Demonstrated knowledge of processes required for developing and delivering interactive applications.
- Advanced understanding of prototyping tools such as Axure, InVision.
- Experience in client presentation and consulting skills for interactive design and development.
- Demonstrated project management including estimating engagement, effort, duration and resources.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize components of short- and long-term projects and escalations.
- Proven ability to work well with cross-functional teams to achieve results.
- Proved ability to present to executive level stakeholders.
