External Job Description The Senior Financial Analyst will lead & develop the Finance Store Sales thru Margin forecasting process (Full Price Stores, Outlet Centers, and Canada), Long Range Plan, and valuation of key item promotions. This includes building analysis, reporting, and KPI's for understanding business performance - both risks and opportunities. Create a story around the data to make it impactful and actionable for the brand. Ensure alignment with the financials and accuracy of Omni-Channel sales thru margin forecasts. Partner with cross-functional teams and functions on analysis and reporting to gain/ensure alignment and influence results.
- Lead the forecasting and actualization process for Store Sales thru Margin by country / store type
- Work with Marketing and the Analytics team to read and react to business decisions
- Partner with Store Finance on labor allocation and store bonus plans as it relates to sales forecasting
- Support Omni-channel Inventory management and risk mitigation; Work cross-functionally with Merchandise Planning team on risk assessment of sales thru margin within the Merchandise Plan for P&L accuracy/achievement
- Manage in-season optimization and out-season budgeting through detailed metric analytics
- Build financial retail metrics using trend based analysis to support forecasts and influence inventory buys
- Owner of base business delayering model used to determine long-term health of the assortment
- Identify trends in business performance and highlight forthcoming risks/opportunities to leadership
- Evaluate business impacts of key moments / peak moments including Spring Break, Back to School, tax free days and holiday shifts
- Perform optimization analysis and recommendations between Stores and Ecommerce channels (selling trends, process improvements, inventory, etc.) as well as identify opportunities related to cross-channel customer behavior
- Evaluate profitability of omni-channel fulfillment as it relates to order-in-store
- Support Executives and Senior Leadership with ad-hoc projects and analysis to support Enterprise business initiatives as well as future growth opportunities

Requirements - Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years related work experience
