AWS Finance seeks a world class Financial Analyst to support the AWS Central Financial Planning and Analysis team. In partnership with business, operations, and technology teams throughout AWS, this position will drive strategic initiatives to improve financial reporting efficiency and customer experience through automation, process improvements, and defects prevention. This role will engage with senior leadership and cross functional teams to drive results.
Key Responsibilities will include: · Automating and managing AWS Security portfolio P&Ls, building complex financial models and analytical tools to measure overall financial performance of the business
· Leading financial planning and analysis and developing short and long range financial/operational forecasts and financial reports.
· Developing industry competitive analyses by programmatically reviewing competitor earnings releases and extracting Cloud competitive intelligence
· Interacting with stakeholders at multiple levels and engaging with Product Management teams on product development, pricing analyses, and other adhoc project.
· Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple groups with competing priorities.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of relevant experience
BA/BS degree required
Basic SQL skills and knowledge of Cognos/TM1
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS · An MBA or MS in Finance or a related field
· Advanced analytical skills
· Advanced knowledge of Excel/ financial modeling
· 5+ years of financial modeling skills
· An ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions
· An ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload
· Knowledge of computing industry
· An ability to work independently and self-motivate in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment

· Strong financial modeling skills, including knowledge of Access and SQL
