Job Description This is an exciting opportunity to join the IDS Business Operations finance team in a multifaceted role as a Sr. Financial Analyst. This role will provide finance and business support to the Integrated Defense Systems Integrated Supply Chain Cross Business Team. The focus of this position is to provide financial reporting, analysis, overhead cost control and procurement pool analysis in support of the greater ISC organization. In addition, this position will provide financial and business decision support as a value added business partner to the Logistics organization with operations at multiple IDS sites. In this role, the position will require ROI support to multiple initiatives, business decision support for a variety of logistics and related business issues and other strategic support in the delivery of 3PL services to the IDS business.
The successful candidate for this role should possess strong financial acumen, ability to support the formulation of annual overhead/staffing budgets, financial reporting and analysis of related overhead drivers such as indirect labor utilization and project spend as well as headcount reporting and risk analysis, Also required will be detail transaction processing using SAP, PRISM and BW related reports The candidate should be able to work both independently and collaborate in a team environment. Must be able to effectively to multi task within a fast paced deadline driven environment. Candidate must be able to develop strong and effective working relationships with various members of the ISC finance team at various levels of cross functionally.
This position will maintain multiple business support relationships with ISC functions and directorates, IDS Finance organizations and on occasion US Government audit organizations such as DCMA and DCAA in support of various adit requests.
Lastly, this position interacts significantly with management and Director level leaders as well as IDS finance. The individual must have a mindset of continued process improvements and the building of efficiencies into all operational aspects of the organization.
Basic Qualifications: - 6+ years of relevant professional working experience
- Familiarity with cost collection vehicles such as cost centers, cost distribution pools and overhead centers
- Experience supporting functional Cross Business Teams such as Integrated Supply Chain, manufacturing operations, Engineering, Quality and the like
- Understanding of FP&A principals such as AOP preparation, overhead pooling concepts, and cost allocation processes/methodologies
- Professional experience with the Microsoft Office and APEX SAP suite of Tools
- Earned Value Certification

- Support the monthly reporting process of critical cost elements such as travel, outside services, internal overhead projects and detailed labor charging

Required Education - A Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field of study
Detail Task Requirements
- Provide monthly reporting of Key ISC metrics (PRISM related pool rates, Overhead reporting vs plan, Directorate level financial performance, outside services, project and labor reporting
- Partner with the ISC organizations as dotted line staff members (Operations, Logistics and Procurement) and provide business level decision support and reporting on key project initiatives, investments, key operating metrics and headcount planning, reporting and and utilization
- Provide support to Sales Reporting of material related costs for the IDS IBT's in support of IDS Financial Outlook reviews, Risk and Opportunity analysis and annual plan development
- Assume responsibility of all ISC Related IOT orders including IOT Hub SME for the organization
- Process all accounting Journal vouchers for monthly ISC allocations (REISS)
- Support ISC CC and Directorate level manpower reporting, planning and tracking vs budget
- Pool monitoring and reporting of weekly labor charges to PRISM pools
- Provide support for Monthly ISC reporting of Key metrics (Sales/OH/Headcount)
- Run monthly pool metrics for PRISM and related pools
- Provide support for the financial needs of the ISC Logistics organization providing weekly Labor reporting (CADO), Detail I/O project reporting Headcount and travel
- Support business case analysis for Capital investments and Enterprise wide ISC related investments
- Support the completion of ISC Level key metrics for the IDS LT level BAFR reviews
