A fantastic opportunity is available for a Tax Analyst to join our Finance team.
The RB NA HQ Tax Department seeks a highly motivated and qualified tax professional at an entry level to join the team in a growing tax department . This individual will report to the Director of Tax Compliance and Reporting and will assist with the preparation of Federal and State tax returns, US tax provision and a variety of ongoing and one-off projects and tasks. In addition, this individual will also have certain administrative responsibilities in support of the RB NA HQ Tax Department. This is an outstanding opportunity for the right candidate to broaden and develop their experience in many aspects of tax.
Key Responsibilities - Preparation of federal and state tax workpapers and accurate and timely filed income tax returnsPreparation of federal and state estimated tax payments and extensions
- Assist in preparation of 5472's, 1120-F's and other foreign-related US tax forms
- Assist with outsourced tax functions including sales and use, property and real estate taxes
- Preparation of US tax provision and related journal entries
- Develop and maintain knowledge of tax accounting and income tax laws and current developments
- Participate and assist with ongoing tax department projects and tasks such as audits, tax credits and incentives, uncertain tax positions, transactions etc.
Is this You?
- Ability to work independently to complete tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Corptax Tax Software experience a plus
- Microsoft Excel proficiency a must
- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or related field required
- CPA preferred, or commitment to working toward Certification or a relevant advanced degree
- 1-3 years tax experience preferred; recent college graduate will be considered
