POSITION SUMMARY: The Sr. Business Analyst will lead, coordinate and facilitate the identification, elicitation, modelling and documentation of BPM, workflow and case management requirements. Build strong partnerships with business and IT stakeholders of the Workflow/Case Management transformation initiatives. The candidate will focus on strategic projects with the objectives of simplification and operational excellence when analyzing and documenting the requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Establish strong partnerships across IT and Business
Identify, document and model current state of business processes
Work closely with business stakeholders to identify, document and model future state workflow blueprint requirements and processes
Facilitate business and IT stakeholder discussions and consensus regarding business process workflow designs
Risk and issues management with escalation/communication to senior leadership across IT and business when needed
Ability to communicate ideas/concepts to a diverse audience of business, management and technical team members
Maintain project materials and production documentation such as Requirement Documents, Functional, issues and risk logs.
Requirements and Change Management
Work closely with the Development team to ensure requirement related to business requirements are addressed in a timely manner.
Testing applications and working closely with QA to ensure that new capabilities match the business and functional requirements
Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: Required Qualifications: Minimum 5-8 years experience in the IT business analyst capacity
Minimum 5 years experience In Financial and/or Retirement industry
Minimum 5 years experience in modeling business processes with industry standard using tools such as Activiti Modeler, Simulator, IBM Rational
Minimum 5 years of combined experience in Agile and Waterfall software delivery methodologies
Desired Qualifications: Minimum 3-5 years experience in Business Process Management design and modeling
Minimum 3-5 years in BPM & Workflow/Case Management platforms such as Activiti, IBM Case Manager
Minimum 5 years experience in Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN)
Detail-orientation and ability to work with business and IT partners
Superior verbal/written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Self-starting attitude, team player, flexible, can work under pressure, fast-learner, high degree of creativity and initiative
