The Johnson & Johnson Design Office is recruiting for a Junior Design Operations Analyst to be located in New York City, NY.
J&J Design is the internal design studio for Johnson & Johnson, working globally across all of the Johnson & Johnsonusiness segments; Consumer, Pharmaceuticals, Medical Device and J&J Corporate.

The Junior Design Operations Analyst is a critical team member of the JJD who interacts routinely with all levels of design solution leaders, design team members, and the operations team leadership.
In this role, as the Junior Design Operations Analyst, he/she will be responsible for:
- Developing and refining both new and existing tools and processes.
- Leveraging recent on-boarding and organizational skills to maintain and improve the new-hire onboarding process.
- Developing and maintaining professional relationships with contingent labor vendors such as WorkSense and Upwork. This position will also manage the initiation and onboarding of contingent labor, create and maintain timelines, and display excellent communications, appropriate inputs and follow-ups.
- Providing accurate spend tracking for contract labor via SAP, Ariba, and internal data collection.
- Leading, in partnership with the Senior Operations Analyst, studio cash flow planning, the execution of purchase orders, and ensuring proper availability of funds.
- Managing multiple projects and inform the Manager of Design Operations of project developments and relevant issues.
- Contributing to decisions pertaining to strategic initiatives, operating models, and operational execution.
- Most importantly, leading by example and in accordance with the J&J Credo and J&J Leadership Imperatives.
Qualifications - A minimum of a Bacheloregree is required. Business or related discipline is preferred.
- A minimum of 6 months of related experience is required. This experience may be gained through college co-op, internship or research.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel on a MAC platform is required.
- Excellent communication skills are required.
- The ability to build strong relationships and collaborate within a team environment is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
- The ability to handle multiple projects with the same degree of priority, while maintain excellence on each project is required.
