We are currently seeking a Software Contact Financial Management & Planning Analyst. Position is responsible for facilitating the day-to-day Software contract management, compliance management and relationship management of IT software agreements on behalf of Carnival and the Carnival business units. The Sr. Analyst works in close collaboration with Supply, Service Delivery, Finance and the Strategic Partner(s) to maintain a thorough knowledge of all aspects of each contract's requirements, deliverables and obligations; facilitate requests for changes to the contract as needed; educate Carnival on Carnival's and the Strategic Partner's obligations within each overall agreement; report on the status of these obligations; track issues related to the contract; and assist in interpreting the contract as needed
- Maintain a thorough working knowledge of the services aspect of the Software agreement(s); monitor both Strategic Partner and Carnival compliance with agreement commitments and obligations.
- Collaborate with IT stakeholders to ensure that the Software agreement (s) are modified, as necessary, to meet Carnival's evolving business needs and liaise with Finance and Service Delivery to ensure timely validation of invoices and tracking of spend
- Act as point of escalation for any IT Stakeholder-related issues; facilitate timely problem resolution of issues and disputes to minimize impact of service disruptions to Carnival
- Ensure that appropriate audit controls are in place for Strategic Partner's processes and invoices. Track and audit retained software license compliance; assist in managing third party contract assignments and ensure compliance with terms and conditions of consents
- Conduct regular governance meetings in order to manage and audit Strategic Partner performance and productivity; reports the status of contract issues, compliance and changes to any Governance board / committee as required
- Provide updates to Software Cost Register of contractual, performance and relationship status across the enterprise ecosystem of all Strategic Partners. Contribute to the Balanced Scorecard presentations for the steering committee and other executive leadership groups
- Develop and monitor the monthly reporting & forecasts of all Software contracts for a period-on-period analysis of service delivery on all dimensions: cost, quality, time and continuous improvement in order to assist with future sourcing strategies, capability estimation and financial planning and management
- Provide early warning to the Business Unit executives regarding degrading or missed service levels and potential software compliance risk (s)
- Review Capital Projects for Software Maintenance requirements and requirements
- Define and evaluate continuous improvement and consolidation opportunities in support of business vision and goals.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree
- Discipline/ Major: Business majors: Accounting, Finance and/or QA/QC or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5-10 years experience
- English should be the primary language. High emotional intelligence, ability to influence and communicate at all levels, a problem solver and understanding of team dynamics are key to the role. Must be able to adapt to quickly changing situations. Excellent written communications skills.
- Solid computer skills with advanced PowerPoint skills and stong Microsoft Word and Excel skills at a minimum.
- Strong analytical ability
