The Financial Planning Analyst IV will compile and analyze financial information for an organization. This position will develop integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations. This position will create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately. The Financial Planning Analyst IV will identify trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management as well as perform financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
Job Responsibilities: - Develops, analyzes and prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual internal and external financial statements.
- Ensures that all reporting is in compliance with SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines.
- Leads other analysts in the development and analysis of financial reports.
- Ensures financials are reviewed for accuracy and provides recommendations or explanations on discrepancies.
- Manages interim and year-end audits for the organization.
- Ensures that documentation complies with company's regulations, professional standards, and SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines.
- Leads and provides work direction to less experienced team members.
- Completes special projects and other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements Minimum Qualifications: - 6+ years related experience required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline required.
- Proficiency in computer applications including MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), SAP
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; able to effectively interact with employees at every level and with outside clients and vendors
- High degree of attention to detail and precision
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Strong people management/leadership skills with the ability to effectively work within and/or lead a team
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and be responsible to follow up on action items
- Strong project management skills
