Responsibilities The Business Analyst Manager is an experienced Oracle ERP manager with strong business analyst experience and a well-rounded functional background in Oracle Applications, ideally in a manufacturing company. This is a key role in evolving our Oracle Business Analysts into a consultative capacity yet retaining their Oracle functional knowledge and skills. This is not a technical or project management position.
Role Description: - Perform general management functions of the IT Business Analysts, both Oracle EBS and General
- Support the business in their usage of Oracle R12 and satellite systems providing timely communication to the user community on changes
- Facilitate the growth of the analyst role to support NCIMO and SDLC methodology, addressing change management and coaching the BA on new skills
- Effectively manage outsourced supplemental support relationships and assignments
- Provide back-up support for the analyst role, personally assuming the role when needed
- Serve as the lead when critical system errors occur and coordinate actions and stakeholders to ensure timely resolution
- Manage the ERP tickets and process flow, ensuring all processes are properly followed to meet both company and SOX standards
- As/when needed, participate in Oracle-related project discussions and planning
Qualifications Skills and knowledge in the following areas:
- Demonstrated functional knowledge on multiple Oracle Applications R12 standard modules with prior experience working to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within the Oracle E-Business Suite
- Experience providing solutions for Oracle ERP functionality, including the ability to provide walk-through demonstrations to the business
- Clear, strong but diplomatic communication, with the ability to effectively work with all areas of the organization
- A strategic and critical thinker with the ability to see the big picture yet still work in the details as/when needed
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- The ability to effectively motivate and coach the department, allowing them to work independently but to understand the direction and purpose
- Knowledge of business concepts and requirements
- Working knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL and development concepts as they relate to Oracle Applications
- Thorough knowledge of MS office suite of products, including Word, Excel, Visio and Power Point
- Domestic travel is required, but is minimal
Experience: - Minimum of 3 years managing Business Analysts
- Minimum of 7 years Oracle Applications functional experience, ideally participating in at least one full implementation cycle
- Minimum of 7 continuous recent years working in the United States
Education: Bacheloregree or comparable work experience
