- High school diploma or equivalent is required

DEFINITION: Under the direction and supervision of the Charge Nurse/Supervisor, the Certified Nursing Assistant performs routine duties, in caring for residents which are supportive and complementary to nursing practice.

KNOWLEDGE: High school graduate or equivalent. Must be able to read and write English.

SKILLS: Demonstrate ability to set priorities and organize tasks in a timely manner. Basic care skills within cope of practice.

EXPERIENCE: Possesses a genuine interest and concern for geriatric or disabled persons.

LICENSE: Currently certified by the State of California. CPR certified.
