VISION: INL will change the world's energy future and secure our critical infrastructure. RESPONSIBILITIES Idaho National Laboratory (INL) is seeking a Performance Analyst. This position is responsible to act as a Performance Analyst supporting Nuclear Science and Technology (NS&T). This position serves as the governance lead for NS&T. This position is responsible for reporting operational performance and effectiveness against established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to organizational leadership and to the Idaho National Laboratory (INL) Laboratory Performance Organization as directed. This position will assist organizational leadership with development of KPIs with established control limits, monitor performance against KPIs, and is responsible to inform organizational leadership when out of control limit trends are noted. This position is responsible to compile status reports for organizational leadership and to support the INL governance processes as directed by leadership and in accordance with LWP-13730. This position will coordinate Management Review Meetings (MRMs) for the directorate in which operational health is discussed and appropriate actions are defined to address risks. This position will support and periodically act as the Issues Management Coordinator, providing timely support and assistance needed for entering, tracking, closing, reporting, and trending issues. This position will support the Research Excellence Board (REB) and coordinate development and tracking of Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) through closure and effectiveness evaluations/reviews if applicable/required and will be responsible to lead event critiques and causal analyses as directed. This position will be responsible for Price-Anderson Amendments Act (PAAA)/Noncompliance Tracking System (NTS) issue screening if requested by NS&T leadership. This position will maintain assessment plans, integrate assessment and inspection activities as appropriate, lead assessments as directed, assist with assessment activities as directed, monitor schedule to ensure assessment activities are completed in a timely manner, ensure assessment findings and observations are entered into the issues management system, and alert organizational leadership of significant findings or observations. This position is responsible to participate in event investigation as directed, assist in Occurrence Reporting and Processing System (ORPS) classification and reporting, lead critiques as directed, write and submit Initial Notification Reports (INRs) if directed/applicable, and lead causal analysis as directed. This position serves as a backup PAAA Compliance Officer for NS&T Directorate. This position is responsible for submitting Lessons Learned in the INL Lessons Learned system as appropriate, reviewing published Lessons Learned for applicability to organizational work activities (both externally and internally generated Lessons Learned) as directed. This position will ensure that applicable company records are identified, maintained, and dispositioned in accordance with company requirements. Minimum Qualification Requirements (Education and/or Experience): Must have at least a Bachelors of Arts or Bachelors of Science plus 2 years experience. Experience with INL laboratory contractor assurance processes preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to gather, analyze, and communicate performance related information to all levels of staff at INL. An overall knowledge and understanding of Key Performance Indicators and laboratory contractor assurance processes. General knowledge and understanding of laboratory work control processes is preferred. Must have demonstrated progression to more responsible professional positions. Individual must demonstrate convincingly that they possess the judgment and experience base to credibly advise management on matters of strategic importance to the organization's function. Must be capable of working effectively across organizational and functional boundaries. The ability to be qualified as a Lead Assessor, Critique Leader, Lead Cause Analyst, and/or PAAA/NTS Screener, in accordance with Laboratory requirements within 12 months.
