Description The primary responsibility of the Systems Analyst II is to provide support to all departmental staff in performing basic tasks including minor hardware installation and problem diagnosis, network and application installation and maintenance, and end-user applications support. The Systems Analyst II will be directly involved in the design and implementation of the related databases, standard applications and custom applications. He/she must have excellent "people skills" since he/she will be responding with other departmental staff to end-user custom feature requests and modifications. The Systems Analyst II will provide support to the Director of Information Systems as needed including software research and analysis, inter-departmental communications, and general issue follow-up. The Systems Analyst II will work closely with the Systems Analyst I to provide support to all senior departmental personnel for training and workflow management purposes. Requirements Education Require Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or computer technical related field or equivalent experience. Desire Masters Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, computer related field, Master of Business Administration, or related advanced degree. Desire certification in an area of specialization such as "Certified Novell System Administration" or any Microsoft NT certification. Experience Systems Analyst II will typically have at least 3 years of related technical work experience in equivalent sized or larger, computing environments.
