Position Overview: The Vice President of Human Resources (HR) will be responsible for the strategic direction of Human Resources, ensuring all initiatives are aligned with company goals, employee relations, employee development, compensation, benefits, payroll, policy development, and legal compliance. Along with these responsibilities, you will work closely with our sales teams across the country to improve recruiting, training, and retention.
Candidate Profile: 10+ years of experience in Human Resources leadership roles
Direct experience leading Human Resources responsibilities for a large sales organization
Successful history of building and managing highly effective teams
Ability to give clear direction and set measurable goals
Experience managing and resolving employee related issues
Ability to travel regularly to the other TQL offices regionally and nationally
Experience leading the renewal, negotiation, plan design and compliance of employer sponsored benefit programs such as insurance plans, 401(k), life and disability.

Key Responsibilities: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the HR department
Oversee and enforce company policy, payroll, leadership development, and employee relations
Support managers at all levels in the implementation of strategies and policies regarding talent development, performance management, and diversity efforts
Maintain HR governance, compliance, and oversee resolution of employee complaints with the goal of implementing measures to prevent litigation
Utilize expert knowledge of current labor and employment laws to coach managers through complex employee situations
Drive and influence talent assessment and development throughout TQL for continuous improvement of our high-performance culture
Build effective relationships across the organization to improve communication and identify key issues and priorities
Review and develop compensation and benefit programs to provide motivation, incentives, and rewards for top performers
Maintain consistent federal contractor compliance
Ensure that HR systems / technology effectively support organizational needs
