Erie Family Health Center (es seeking an innovative and inspirational leader to join the Executive Leadership Team as the health systemice President of Health Information Technology (VPHIT). Reporting to the system CFO, the VPHIT is the senior-most executive responsible for the development and execution of Erienformation Technology and Business Intelligence strategies. At Erie, technology is viewed as a strategic asset, and the role of the VPHIT is to aid the organizationfforts to attain operational excellence, optimize health care quality, achieve financial sustainability, and reach annual goals. In addition, and equally as important, the VPHIT directs the planning and implementation of ErieT systems, and oversees technology deployment, software applications, and systems integration, all of which enable clinical and financial operations to improve cost effectiveness, value-based care, patient engagement, staff satisfaction, service quality, and compliance. Additionally, the VPHIT collaborates with a broad continuum of external partners to promote the coordination of patient care and advance Erietrategic plan.
As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the VPHIT works closely with his/her ELT peers and collaborates with other Erie business partners, including those on the Senior Operations Leadership Team and the Leadership Team.
Primary Responsibilities: - Enterprise-level planning
- Project management
- Implementing new capabilities
- Day-to-day support and maintenance of existing systems
- Advancing and successfully adopting HIT capabilities for providers, staff and patients
Required Qualifications: - Bacheloregree required; Masteregree strongly preferred
- A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive IT experience in a health care delivery organization, with 3+ years of senior management experience
- Change management experience
- Detail-focus balanced with visionary strategist
- Track record of effectively working in a multi-cultural employment environment that serves low income, minority, medically underserved communities
- Knowledge of the healthcare regulatory agencies and requirements, and expertise in HIT-related compliance mandates
