Administrative team members assist with ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing administrative assistance to residents and facility staff. This position involves administrative duties encompassing several departments or a single area. In addition, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for the coordination of administrative office functions, committees and special projects.
This is a great position for those with clerical or customer service skills seeking some extra income.
Responsibilities This position works the main reception desk at the facility. Responsibilities include:
- Directing visitors
- Answering phones and directing calls to the proper persons
- Light clerical duties such as alphabetizing records, stuffing envelopes
- Proper responding to emergencies such as fire alarms
- Sorting mail
- Receiving resident clothing
Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred business education or associates degree.
Must have one (1) year as an Administrative Assistant preferably in a health care setting. Must have a good knowledge of office support functions including word processing, filing, composing a variety of business documents, reception and researching, compiling and summarizing data for reports.
Qualities of maturity, diplomacy, and ability to work well with others required.
Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing required. Ability to perform tasks to established standards of excellence required.
