The Revenue Cycle Senior Vice President serves as the head of the Revenue Cycle for the OSF Healthcare System. The Rev Cycle Senior Vice President provides strategic direction and tactical execution of financial measures, patient satisfaction, compliance, and quality goals for ministry while assuring compliance with all applicable standards and regulations. This executive creates the revenue cycle strategy, policies and practices to ensure the Revenue Cycle Division is meeting cash requirements, managing the receivables and providing an excellent patient experience that is consistent with the OSF brand and achievement of the key results. Additionally, the Senior Vice President will work to build consensus and engage with a broad stakeholder group, including hospital/medical center leadership and ambulatory leadership to design, implement, and maintain a high performing and metric-driven institutional revenue cycle ministry-wide.
Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bacheloregree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
7 to 10 years of experience at the Director level or above in Patient Access, Patient Financial Service and Professional Fee environment.
This experience should include revenue cycle operations and planning along with the formulating, developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
Demonstrated financial management skills, including
Financial analysis for budgeting and operations management
Basic accounting knowledge and auditing
Forecasting
AR and reserve analysis
Market analysis
Current federal and state rules and regulations governing healthcare
Related staffing and financial reporting skills
Ability to command respect and confidence with professional peers on direct provision, referral and contractual basis.
Intelligence, integrity, and communication skills necessary to establish credibility and work effectively with key stakeholder, executive leadership and physicians as well as other stakeholders in organizing and ensuring revenue cycle performance.
Must possess high ethical standards with ability to build teams and relationships with results orientation and commitment to staff development.
General knowledge of finance, reimbursement, budgetary, strategic planning in a multi-system healthcare environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master degree in Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
