Position Summary: The nursing assistant is responsible for giving personal care and assistance to the patient/resident as delegated by the professional nurse and performed under the direction of the registered professional nurse or licensed professional nurse. The individual patient/resident's nursing care plan is used as a guide in giving care.

Education:

· Required to be certified as a Nursing Assistant in the state of South Dakota. If not certified will have 4 months to obtain from start date.

· Basic Life Support certification is mandatory within 6 months of employment.
