Responsibilities

Qualified candidates will possess significant experience in addressing cyber security-related issues faced by organizations across many different industries and in project delivery, with a focus on cyber risk advisory, cyber security assessment, and security program transformation. The successful candidate will have experience in operating at the Board level and be able to advise on the technical, strategic and commercial aspects of cyber security. The specific requirements for this role are as follows:

• Be part of developing and delivering AlixPartners' cyber engagements. This may include, but is not limited to:

• Through analysis and legal response to cyber incursions;
• Board-level cyber risk management and explanation, mitigation and remediation, including preventative, during and post attack;
• Intelligence-led cyber vulnerability assessment;
• Operational structures and clarification of roles relating to cyber security;
• Templated cyber security change programs.
• Develop a model to assess and quantify cyber security risk in a range of business situations.
• Increase awareness of cyber security across AlixPartners and within relevant industry segments.
• Help AlixPartners develop an international cyber security offering within critical domains such as finance, insurance, retail and private equity.
• Grow and integrate the AlixPartners' cyber security practice, revalidate partnerships and support contracts.
• Help with the management of the AlixPartners' cyber security practice.

Minimum Qualifications

• This position is an advanced role and a Bachelor's degree is required. Candidates with advanced degrees (MBA/MS/MA/ME, Ph.D.) in technical concentrations are preferred.
• At least fifteen (15) years of applicable professional and consulting experience.
• Cyber experienced and qualified (e.g., CISSP or equivalent).
• Experience in information technology and/or operational management consulting.
• Experience and ability to lead small projects and multiple work streams of larger projects.
• Able to manage complex client and external stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills.
• Strong client negotiation skills.
• Experience in assisting with firm building activities (e.g., recruiting).
• Team leadership, coaching and conflict resolutions skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel 80% and work long hours and weekends if necessary to meet client demands.
