The Vice President of Operations is responsible for
- overseeing HHS Resorts & Hospitality programs at multiple sites
- managing the success of day-to-day operations within the area assigned and ensuring that policies and best practices set forth by senior leadership are carried out
- hiring and developing management personnel within his or her assigned area, routinely
- evaluating strengths and weaknesses of their management teams, and providing tangible development plans for future growth
- monitoring the implementation and effectiveness of guest review, customer satisfaction and safety programs,
- ensuring that fiscal responsibility is exercised, and fostering positive relationships between HHS and hospital administration teams
QUALIFICATIONS Management experience is required. A successful Operations Vice President will be able to
- set clear expectations and performance goals
- motivate their management teams, creating a positive culture of success and mutual
support that suits the needs of every manager
- utilize several techniques for training, such as one-on-one training, workshops, and
meetings
- multi-task, manage personnel remotely, travel a minimum 30 percent of their time (both air
and ground), and also communicate effectively with customers and management teams,
both orally and in writing
