Awesomeness is looking for a Vice President, Marketing Solutions to be the strategic force and architect of strategies and proposals to engage with our external brand partners. This person will lead the New York team in creating amazing marketing solutions to drive audience engagement for brand partners. As a key partner to our sales and content teams, this role will be critical to developing and delivering on our projects across all the Awesomeness brands.
Responsibilities - Proactively identify and develop strategic solutions to generate revenue across different platforms
- Unlock new and innovative opportunities for clients and serve as client service lead & program management/execution point of contact for partnerships
- Apply emerging consumer data and analytics to create innovative media solutions
- Provide thought leadership for creating cross-platform partnerships
- Develop well-thought-out storytelling proposals with connected visuals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ideate on strategies and products to build in for potential client/brand partners
- Drive content cadence for strategic partnerships
- Lead team to bridge the gap between the sales department and client needs
- Partner with the sales team to provide them with strategies and collateral to drive monetization goals
- Mentor and manage team members; lead the team in successful Wrap Report & Case Study creation, while adding strategic insight and business implications.
- Create and develop cross-functional relationships throughout the company, such as Business & Legal Affairs, Sales and Marketing
Requirements - Minimum of 10 years of experience in advertising sales marketing and brand partnerships within the entertainment, advertising agency, or digital media industries
- Experience supporting a sales organization with a strong background in sales development or integrated marketing
- Demonstrated success building, managing, and retaining high-performance teams
- Successful track record of translating advertiser objectives into high profile integrated marketing campaigns from creative problem solving brainstorms through flawless execution
- Strong understanding of digital and content-led partnerships
- Comfort with various types and sources of data and ability to derive insights from data; interest in applying data to inform creative solutions
- Knowledge of Salesforce, content management systems, CRM and web analytics tools
- In-depth knowledge of current marketplace and future trends in media
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across various levels of an organization and the ability to thrive and collaborate in a fast-paced environment
- Solutions-oriented thinker who has a proven ability to get things done while managing multiple projects simultaneously
