We are seeking a Vice President of Marketing to lead the corporate marketing strategy while supporting the brand and ensuring the achievement of our corporate growth goals and objectives. This position is located in our Duluth (Sugarloaf Parkway Duluth GA) office.
Responsibilities: This position will be responsible for launching and overseeing major marketing projects in concert with internal teams and the agency, setting clear, measurable ROMI goals and achieving targeted results from brand positioning, to member growth, wallet share marketing, and business development. Candidate must have knowledge of all facets of marketing, including strategy, digital, conferences, database/CRM, annual reports, thought leadership and PR/communications.
- Leads and manages the internal marketing team and external marketing partners for all marketing, product, new member growth, member communications and creative services.
- Improves member communication and relationship building via segmented marketing, a permission email program, website content, sales campaigns, newsletters, branch merchandising, community events, social media, etc.
- Manages market research, competitive product and pricing reviews, member survey insights, service quality evaluations and new product development efforts to identify and assess competitive activity, market trends, and new business opportunities.
- Oversees activities of the marketing team members including tactical planning/execution and individual staff professional development.
- Manages the department budget, expense reports and return on investments.
- Develops and implements a robust marketing plan for the companyulti-product branch and the communication program to support the companyublic image and reputation, as an innovator and industry leader.
- Oversees the development and execution of advertising and promotional programs; monitors, measures and reports the effectiveness of the programs.
- Drives development, implementation, and compliance of processes and standards that result in the highest levels of quality internal and external branding.
- Works with the leadership team to plan and present effective customer training events and educational materials.
- Promotes and establish a strong, positive and productive working relationships within the organization through a commitment to the companyision statement, core values, and business principles.
Qualifications: - Bacheloregree in Marketing, Communications or related discipline.
- Must have 10 + years of experience in a branded business-to-member environment in a banking industry.
- Experience in a financial institution marketing, business development and sales, segmented matrix marketing, advertising, branding, product development, branch merchandising and online channel marketing (web, online, mobile).
- Computer proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Internet and Email.
