The Business Technology Implementation Consultant will engage new ILD clients along with the client implementation and CS/CI teams to provide consultative value both internally and with the client on best practices for implementing content and solutions in the ILD Visualization platform (Unify).
The candidate must be organized and know how to prioritize schedules and tasks in order to handle multiple clients, projects and deadlines. A key component of this position requires building an in-depth understanding of Liquid data and the Unify Platform and partnering with operations and CI teams to ensure best practices are followed for the latest features available within the platform
This role is extremely cross functional in nature and requires close collaboration between multiple IRI teams including Client Service, Technical Support, Implementation, and Engineering. Candidate will need to be well versed in Unify platform and all of its current functionality, as well as report design best practices.
Strong listening, observational, consultative and interpretive skills are a must. You will need to be able to set and manage expectations both with the client and internally, and coordinate with a cross-functional team in order to execute and deliver on time and above expectations. Approximately 30% travel is expected in this role.
Executing successfully in this role directly contributes to engagement, adoption and usage by the application end users, as well as value and ROI for the client stakeholder.
What are the responsibilities of a Vice President - Business Technology Implementations ?
- Own the overall responsibility for ensuring best practices are followed when implementing new ILD solutions
- Become a Subject Matter Expert with the Unify Visualization platform
- Live Product Demonstrations both in person and via webex to IRI client base
- Unify Migration Support - Best Practice Documentation and Sharing for Unify Rollouts (User Group Set Up, Report Design, Desk Structure, Training)
- Ownership of Best in Class Content Curation within Sales Demo Environment across all IRI Product Solutions (MA/CSIA/ShopperSights/Retail ect)
- Coordinate Internal ID/User Group Management for Demo and Training Environments
- Client Issue Escalation/Triage Support
- Gather Voice of the Customer feedback from client and client teams
- Work with CI/CS client teams to communicate the latest release materials and provide sales support as needed
What are the qualifications?
- Excellent verbal and written communication. Confidence communicating with clients at various levels in an organization.
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure, and make critical decisions and develop creative solutions
- Strong time-management skills and ability to manage multiple clients, projects, and changing timelines.
- Familiarity with IRI Solutions or other competitive Business Intelligence tools required
- Familiarity with CPG sales and or consumer and retail loyalty data preferred, but not required. Experience in the CPG or retail industries also preferred but not required.
- Bacheloregree required; advanced degree a plus
