What youdo on a typical day:
- Lead efforts to grow the assigned industry vertical portfolio by leveraging resources from across the sector and the company
- Solicit and manage opportunities for additional new business by maintaining and growing the business with assigned key clients
- Perform financial management oversight of assigned programs including financial analysis, budget and cost quote preparation, cost management, reconciliation, and profit enhancement
- Direct all program/project management activities for assigned industry vertical
- Act as a liaison between XPO and the client to align strategic goals; support the ongoing management of the legal aspects of the relationships, from renewing contracts to managing proposed contractual changes and updates
- Ensure quality of program products, services, and deliverables including participating in reviews, audits, and site visits; prepare various reports and technical reviews for senior leadership as requested
- Instill program management discipline and program reviews to ensure flawless execution of schedule, budget, and deliverables that meet client requirements
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, youneed:
- Bacheloregree in a business, finance, or technical discipline
- 10 or more years of progressive experience in supply chain management with profit and loss responsibilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Availability to travel at least 75% of the time
Ite great if you also have:
- MBA or other advanced degree
- Consulting experience
- Experience in developing and implementing business growth plans and winning large contracts
- Demonstrated planning, project management, problem-solving techniques and analytical skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective, collaborative work relationships both internally and externally
